Newcomer Diana Champika is the heroine of Vijay Antony’s Annadurai. According to sources, the film is a family drama, and revolves around the story of two brothers. A source reveals that Vijay will be playing both the brothers.
The actor is also doubling up as music director for the film. The source adds, “Vijay always prefers working with newcomers, and believes in introducing new talent. We are almost done shooting for the film, and he’s extremely happy with Diana’s work.”
Contrary to rumours, the film is not a biopic on the late Tamil leader, Annadurai, and will instead be a commercial entertainer. Directed by debutant Srinivasan, Annadurai will be produced by Radikaa and Sarath Kumar.
