Chandini Tamilarasan and Guru Somasundaram have teamed up for a crime thriller directed by newcomer Manoj.

Chandini Tamilarasan and Guru Somasundaram have teamed up for a crime thriller directed by newcomer Manoj.

The untitled project will be based on a crime that happens in the city. On the project, Chandini says, “I play the role of an IT Professional in this film. It’s about 60 per cent complete. We’re currently in Pondicherry for a schedule, and will wrap up shoot by next month.”

She also tells us that there are a number of newcomers working in the film. “In a film that’s filled with newcomers, it’s been such a learning experience to work with Somu sir,” she adds.

Guru Somasundaram says, “I play the lead role, which is a character with grey shades.” A source reveals that the actor will play the role of a gangster in the film.
