The makers of Enai Nokki Paayum Thota had released a teaser of the song Maru Vaarthai Pesadhey from the album, but didn’t announce the name of the music composer. Few days ago, a picture of Gautham Menon with Devi Sri Prasad and singer Karthik went viral. This raised speculations if DSP was the music director.
CE learns Darbuka Siva, who impressed everyone with Kidaari (2016) is most likely the music composer. However, official confirmation is awaited. In an interview, Gautham had said that the team shot the songs even before finalising a music composer. The filmmaker was quoted saying he had “references in mind and shot five songs as montages.” While the crew has been keeping this a secret, it has left many wondering if Dhanush himself has composed songs! Gautham had also tweeted, “A song is mostly judged or liked also by who the music director is. Please listen to Maru Varthai Pesathey and like it purely on it’s own merit.”
