Music composer-actor GV Prakash, who has completed shooting for Semma, 4G and Adangadhey, has signed his next, Kobam, to be directed by Seeman.

Rumours are abuzz that Seeman was trying to do the same project with Vijay, but that didn’t materialise.

But it’s not yet clear if the exact script narrated to Ilayathalapathy is being made with GV Prakash, or if it has been tweaked to suit his image. Prakash says, “It’s a powerful film and has a relevant social message. Seeman and I met sometime ago, and he narrated this script.

I immediately knew I wanted to do this. There’s plenty of action too. We’ll begin shooting in October.”
Prakash also says he’s “almost done with Bala’s project, Naachiyaar, which will be wrapped by the end of this month.” Seeman’s last directorial venture, Vaazhthugal, was released in 2008.
