Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kaala’s first look, which was recently released by producer Dhanush, has gone viral, and is being applauded by fans and celebrities alike. The latest to join the list is Anand Mahindra, the chairman and managing director of Mahindra Group.
Anand’s tweet specifically pointed out the fact that, in one of the images, Rajini is seen sitting atop a jeep that’s a flagship product of the Mahindra group. “When the legend Rajini uses a car as a throne, it becomes a legend,” he said. Being an avid Twitter user, he also added, “Whoever knows the whereabouts of the Thar used for this shoot please let us know.
I’d like to acquire it for our company auto museum.” When a user pointed out that the first look might be photoshopped, Anand replied that the car itself is still a collector’s item. It’s worth noting that Anand once exchanged a Kerala-based auto rickshaw driver’s auto for a brand-new mini truck after finding out that the driver had modified the auto’s look to match that of a Mahindra vehicle.
Kaala, directed by Pa Ranjith, also boasts a stellar cast that includes Nana Pathekar, Huma Qureshi, Eeshwari Rao, Samuthirakani, Sampath, Anjali Patil, Sayaji Shinde, Aravind Akash, Ramesh Thilak and many more.
