Krishna, who is awaiting the release of Vizhithiru, has signed a biggie, Maari 2. The actor, talking to CE, says that he’s “elated to be a part of the franchise.”
The Pandigai actor, who expressed happiness at getting to share space with Dhanush, calls him a “bundle of talent”. He says, “Maari 2 is a lovely script and Dhanush sir is someone I respect a lot. So when I was approached for the sequel, I knew I had to do it and even pushed my dates for a film to make sure I could be a part of the film.”
With Sai Pallavi confirmed as the heroine and Malayalam star Tovino Thomas as the villain, sources suggest that Yuvan Shankar Raja might be roped in as the music director of this film which is to be helmed by Balaji Mohan.
