The star cast of legendary actress Savitri’s biopic, Nadigaiyar Thilagam (Mahanati in Telugu), is increasing by the day.
We reported recently that Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy fame is playing an important role in the film. Now, it’s been confirmed that veteran actor Mohan Babu has been roped in to play the role of the late actor, SV Ranga Rao.
The star has previously starred in Tamil films such as Guru, Vetrikku Oruvan and Annai Oru Aalayam.
Keerthy Suresh is playing the role of Savitri, with the film also starring Dulquer Salman as Gemini Ganesan and Shalini as yesteryear actress Jamuna.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, this Tamil-Telugu bilingual also stars Samantha, Vijay Devarkonda and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.
