In a recent media interaction, Anirudh Ravichander confirmed that he will be teaming up with Dhanush for a project in 2019. It was Dhanush who introduced the music director with 3, which gave the latter a big break in the industry. The duo then went on to collaborate on films like Velai Illa Pattadhari, Maari, and Thanga Magan. Aside from these films in which he played the lead, Dhanush also roped the composer in for his production ventures including Ethir Neechal, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, and Kaaki Sattai.
There were speculations that all wasn’t well between the duo when Sean Roldan was brought on board for VIP-2. However, neither of them officially clarified their stance.
Even for Maari 2, Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director and not Anirudh.But now, with this announcement, it looks like all’s well between them, and the DnA combo, as they’re fondly referred to by fans, will return soon.
