After a protracted struggle on the personal front, Dr Dinesh Babu, who has taken on the dual roles of producer and actor, has managed to release his long awaited film, Brahmaputra, this Friday.

The film on friendship appears to be nothing new on the face of it, but according to Babu, director Thomas has given a new spin to the script and the climax will be ‘beyond one’s imagination’. “Two friends from a village come to the metropolis hoping to find a job and settle down in life. Things roll on nicely until one of them runs into an unexpected problem that leaves him in a coma.

His friend goes to any length to punish the offender and eventually goes to jail. There are engaging twists and turns with commercial elements thrown in to keep the youth engaged,’’ says Babu.

With newcomers playing the leads, the film also features known actors like Delhi Ganesh, Udhayatara and Akshata.
