Ineya of Vaagai Sooda Vaa fame has turned producer with her own music video titled Mia. Speaking about the video, Ineya says, “It’s a song dedicated to dancers. As the name suggests, the central character is named Mia and her name spelled backwards is ‘aim’. So the story is about her working towards her aim, and the video is shot like a short film with dialogues and dance.”
Ineya plays the character Mia, and the video was shot recently in Trivandrum. “While I’m doing films to entertain people, I always wanted to do something more than just entertaining. Hence, I’ve produced Mia and whatever proceeds we get from the video will be donated to cancer patients,” says the actor, who is planning to release the video in less than two weeks. “We haven’t decided which platform we’re releasing it on yet. As there isn’t a platform for music videos alone, we’re working on other options. It’ll also be available on YouTube,” adds Ineya.
Naveen, of distribution company Beyond Frames, will be handling the release of Mia which is sung by Sayanora, who is known for singing Athiradee in Sivaji. Arun Nandakumar has directed this music video, while Ashwin Johnson has composed the music for Mia. On the acting front, Ineya has Pottu in Tamil and Thakol in Malayalam ready for release.
