From our online archive

Dark comedy… suspense… courtroom drama… Star World presents a truly unique viewing experience bustling with quirky characters and compelling cases setting it apart from the past and present legal shows. Boston Legal confronts social and moral issues, while its characters continually stretch the boundaries of the law.

Two-time Emmy Award Winner and two-time People’s Choice Award nominee, Boston Legal is about the professional and personal stories of a group of brilliant but often ethically challenged attorneys.

Alan Shore and Denny Crane lead a brigade of high-priced civil litigators in an upscale Boston law firm.

Shore, an unscrupulous and wily ambulance chaser and womaniser finds an uneasy alliance with Crane, a pompous, snooty, and occasionally batty elder lawyer. Despite their ethical and emotional deficiencies, Shore and Crane usually find themselves fighting on the right side, as they take up cases that no one else is willing to touch.

The third season is spicier then ever as it kicks off with Denise (Julie Bowen) shocking the firm with the announcement of her marriage while Denny Crane finds new love.

Meanwhile, Alan continues to offer legal help to Jerry Espenson and the firm has a new attorney, Jeffrey Coho, who blurs the moral line in his pursuit of justice.

The stars that are going to add some more punk to the office politics for this season include Delta Burke, Michael J. Fox, Megan Mullally, Parker Posey, Tom Selleck and Betty White.
