Sarwanand, Ruby Parihar, Saikumar and Sandeep Kishan are playing the lead in ‘Prasthanam’ directed by Deva Katta, and produced by Vallabhaneni Ravi under the banner of VRC Media and Entertainments. The film has recently completed its second schedule in Vijayawada.
Giving details, producer says, “We shot the film for about three weeks in Vijayawada. Besides canning of two songs, we shot some important scenes involving all the lead artistes.”
Director says, “The Vijayawada will have lots of emotional backdrop. The location suited to our subject very well. ‘Prasthanam’ has action, emotion and entertainment in equal ratio and at the same time it is a good family subject. Besides the story value, we are making the film high in technical values.”
Saikumar says, “I am playing a key role in this movie. The character in this film has made me proud for donning the role. The role gave me an immense satisfaction as an artiste. Director Deva Katta moulded the character in a memorable way. When you listen to the name Saikumar, you will automatically remember ‘Prasthanam’ as one of my best films.”
Vennela Kishore, Jayaprakash Reddy, Pavitra Lokesh, Surekhavani and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Chaitanya Prasad, Vanamali and Deva Katta, while music is by Mahesh Shankar.
