Telugu Actor P.J. Sharma dead

HYDERABAD: Popular Telugu actor and dubbing artist P.J. Sharma breathed his last at his residence here Sunday. He was 70.

"He has been unwell for a while. He suffered a heart attack and passed away at his house," a family source told IANS.

Born in Vizianagaram, Sharma started his career as a character artiste and starred in over 150 films, mostly in Telugu and Kannada.

Some of his best films include "Athanu", "Ram Robert Rahim", "Collector Janaki" and "Talli Prema".

As a dubbing artist, he worked in over 500 films. His sons Sai Kumar, Ravi Shankar and Ayappa too are known dubbing artists as well as actors.

Sharma's grandson Aadi Pudipeddi, a promising Telugu actor, got married here Saturday.
