Express News Service

Unfazed by negative reviews for his recently released Telugu film, Kick 2, director Surender Reddy said he will make Kick 3 soon. The director, who struck gold with Race Gurram last year, said a sequel for the 2014 blockbuster is also on the cards. “The concepts of both Kick and Race Gurram really appealed to me. As I’ve made Kick 2 now, Kick 3 will be in the offing for sure. I’m also planning the sequel to Race Gurram with Bunny,” revealed Surender Reddy.

After creating ripples with the 2009 blockbuster Kick starring Ravi Teja, the duo’s Kick 2 received criticism for being too lengthy, following which they have decided to chop the second half by 20 minutes. “Yes, there has been criticism about the second half being too long and for that reason, we have trimmed it. I’m not worried about critics as long as the numbers prove me right,” said the director, after the film had a successful weekend.
