Having impressed as an MLA in this year’s Allu Arjun-starrer Sarrainodu, actress Catherine Tresa is being courted by several filmmakers in Tollywood. The actress, who is predominantly known for her work in Tamil cinema, has now been approached for a film opposite Gopichand in an upcoming entertainer.
Sampath Nandi will be directing the high-budget film, which will be produced by Bhagwan and J Pulla Rao.
According to sources, Catherine is the preferred choice to play the female lead in the movie.
“Having seen her role in Sarrainodu, the markers felt that she would be apt for this film. She has been approached but is yet to give the nod for this project. Catherine is currently busy with a couple of Tamil films and will take a decision on this shortly,” said a source in the know.The yet-untitled venture is slated to go on floors next month. An official announcement is expected soon.
