It seems the suspense surrounding the release date of director Trivikram’s A..AA has finally come to an end. According to sources from the film’s unit, the makers have decided to release the film worldwide on June 3, thereby cashing in on the summer break.
There has been a positive response to the film’s audio, as well as the teasers launched thus far. However, while the makers planned a release on May 6, it was posptoned to make way for Suriya’s 24 and then Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam. With no other biggies on the horizon, A..AA will finally hit screens in the first week of June.
“Right from the start, we were targeting a summer release for this film but at the same time, we felt it was important to keep a healthy gap between two big projects, which is why the project was postponed. We are now looking at June 3 to release the film. Since most schools and colleges only open in the second week of June, we’ll be able to cash in on the summer break,” said a source.
Directed by Trivikram, A..AA has Nithiin and Samantha in lead roles.
