Baahubali-2 avails screening five shows a day in Telangana theatres

HYDERABAD: With just three days to go before director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali-2: the conclusion’ hits the screens, Telangana government has accorded permission for the movie halls and multiplexes to screen the movie five times a day. Touted to be one of the most expensive films ever made in the country, the epic historical fiction is also one of the most awaited movie set for a worldwide release on April 28.

Cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Monday said that the government will permit theatres to screen five shows a day.

Prasad Devineni, producer of the movie, called on the Cinematography minister at the Secretariat on Monday and requested permission to screen five shows daily.

Responding to this, Talasani said that Telangana State government would always encourage films, especially historical movies. The minister said that movie buffs had been eagerly waiting for Baahubali-2 for several days now.The minister congratulated team Baahubali team including director SS Rajamouli, producer Prasad, actors Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj and others.
