Swathi, who was last seen in Yaakkai, will reprise Ritika Singh’s role in the Telugu remake of Aandavan Kattalai (2016).
Chinni Krishna, who directed Brother of Bommali (2014) and Veedu Theda (2011), is directing the film and newbie Rakshak is playing the male lead. Sources say that Swathi was happy when the film was offered to her, and immediately agreed to be a part of it.
We hear that the shooting of this untitled flick has already started and the filmmaker has tweaked the script to suit the sensibilities of the Telugu audience.
