Marlon Brando is considered as one of the most influential actors of all time. He was one of the main sex symbols in Hollywood during the 1950s and was hailed as one of the proponents of method acting popularised by maestros like Lee Strasberg and Stella Adler and begun by Konstantin Stanislavsky in Russia.

Marlon Brando joined Stella Adler's acting workshop and found success in Broadway through plays like 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. He reprised his role of Stanley Kowalski in the film adaptation of the same play, receiving wide acclaim.
