Actors and film/TV personalities from India made a beeline to Qatar just in time to catch the electrifying finals between Argentina and France at the Lusail Stadium on Sunday -- some of them flew there earlier to spend an entire week at the FIFA World Cup. It was a sight to see the celebrities from the world of cinema, who otherwise appear unruffled, cheering madly for sporting celebrities like Messi and others.

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone accompanied by Iker Casillas (Spanish World Champion 2010) unveiled the FIFA World Trophy. Louis Vuitton custom-made the trophy trunk for the World Cup. Deepika is the global ambassador of the brand.

The 36-year-old actor wore a Louis Vuitton outfit while presenting the trophy that arrived in a titanium-covered, special-order trunk, designed and handmade by expert artisans in the Maison's atelier in Asnieres, France. 'From unveiling the FIFA World Cup Trophy to witnessing one of the greatest games in sporting history, I truly couldn't have asked for more. #grateful #fifaworldcup2022,' Padukone wrote on Instagram.
