Demonetisation effect: Public swarm banks    

Following the demonetisation of high denomination currency notes as an initiative by the Centre to curb corruption, banks remained closed on Wednesday to stock up on fresh currency notes. People across the county swarm banks on Thursday to have their defunct currency exchanged.
