Mumbai's 'Kasab Bridge' outside CSMT station collapses, six killed and 32 injured

The FOB was also known as the Kasab bridge after the infamous terrorist was photographed on this structure.

At least six people including two women are dead and 32 others are injured when footover bridge (FOB) outside Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) railway station collapsed during the evening peak hour on Thursday. (Photo | PTI)

The pedestrian bridge connects the railway station to the Azad Maidan police station and the Times of India building in south Mumbai. Traffic on the stretch has been affected and commuters have been advised to use alternate routes, police said. (Photo | PTI)

According to some commuters, it was making strange noises for past few days, while some other who were around while the mishap took place, said that a major portion of the pathway of the FOB caved in injuring several commuters. (Photo | PTI)
