TNIE explains how anybody can register themselves for the jab in six easy steps.  All it takes is a speedy internet connection, a mobile phone, a valid ID Proof and 10 minutes of your time!

Log in to http://www.cowin.gov.in and click on the 'Register Yourself' option on the top-right of the website.
Enter your mobile number and click on 'Get OTP' (One Time Password). Enter the code received on your mobile phone number and click on the 'Verify' button.
You will now reach the registration page where you need to enter personal details. An ID proof is required to complete the process (no PDF/.jpg upload required). PAN Card, Driving License, Aadhaar Card are all accepted by the portal and the applicant should enter his/her name exactly as given in the ID used.
Along with the details of the registered name, you will see a column named “Action”. Calendar and bin icons are also available under the same. You can add/delete more than one beneficiary using the same mobile number.
Once you click on the calender icon, the website will redirect to “Book Appointment for Vaccination” page. Enter your State/UT, District, Block and Pincode and click on “Search”
You can also manually search for vaccination centres at your locality via 'Find Your Nearest Vaccination Center' option on http://www.cowin.gov.in.
