Tamil Nadu COVID-19 lockdown: List of services affected and unaffected from May 10-24

Hospitals, labs, ambulance services and other health related activities are exempted from the lockdown.
Ration shops will operate from 8 am till noon.
Only takeaways will be permitted in hotels and restaurants. However, working hours are restricted to 6 am to 10 am, 12 pm to 3 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm.
Swiggy, Zomato and other online food delivery services will be available.
Amma canteens will function as usual.
Roadside fruit and flower stalls can do business till noon.
Chemists needn't shut business.
Milk booths can resume operations.
Transportation of essential goods will be permitted.
Fuel stations will be open.
Banks, ATMs, banking related transport, insurance services will be allowed with 50 per cent workforce.
Standalone meat, poultry and fish shops will remain open till noon with a limit on the number of customers allowed.
Police department will be available for public assistance.
The railways said only staff of all Central and State Government departments, Public Sector Undertakings, staff of Madras High Court judicial bodies and quasi-judicial bodies including lawyers, travel and logistics organization staff including Chennai Port Trust, Kamarajar Port Trust, staff of e-commerce companies, staff of print and electronic media, staff of nationalized, private and co-operative banks, and staff of private security agencies are allowed to travel. Staff of hospitals and agencies engaged in sanitation also can travel.
Courier services are exempted from the lockdown.
Secretariat, health, revenue, disaster management, fire and resuce, prison departments, local administration, EB, PWD, social welfare and forests department are among the government offices that will function.
TASMAC shops will be closed.
All public transport including buses, trains, taxis and autorickshaws services will not ply.
All religious places will remain shut for public darshan/ worship.
Other than shops selling essential commodities like milk, meat and groceries, commercial complexes will not open.
Inter/intra-district bus services, both government and private, will not function.
Hostels will only be allowed to operate for clients staying for business reasons and for medical purposes only.
