Hurricane Matthew hits Haiti, targets Florida

Hurricane Matthew ravaged Haiti's southern coast on Tuesday, as the strong winds ripped off rooftops, trees and caused serious floods on almost every street and farmland. Haiti, a country that is yet to recover from the devastating earthquake from six years ago, suffered more damage in terms of infrastructure, population and livestock. Hurricane Matthew is a Category 4 storm and it carried winds of 145 mph when it first hit Les Anglais, a town on the southwestern tip of Haiti. It has affected, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and now, Florida is expected to be its next target.
