HYDERABAD: In an attempt to tap the child in each person, Harimohan Paruvu incorporated his own experiences with his daughter Anjali into his latest book, ‘This Way Is Easier Dad’. The book traces the a conversations between a perceptive daughter and her indulgent father.
“I never thought that I will write this book. Looking for interesting content has always driven me to write books. I found it in my daughter Anjali. I started noting important things that happened in her life, since she was two and a half year old,” gushes Harimohan about his now 9-year-old. And considering the content used in the book was technically intellectual property of his daughter, the doting father admits to have “asked her permission before publishing the book.”
Harimohan sums up his books as, “How my daughter saved me from growing up.” Elaborating on the thought, he says, “Children are the ones, who experience life to the fullest, without worrying about others.” “Often, in the rush and worry of life, we forget about the true meaning of our journey. But children experience life with an open mind and a big heart. This book reveals all the truths that we overlook in our eagerness to get ahead in life,” adds Harimohan.
Harimohan earlier authored books like ‘If You Love Someone’, ‘50 Not Out!’, and ‘The Men Within – A Cricketing Tale’, which was adapted into a feature film, too.
