HYDERABAD : Scholastic and Landmark recently held the book launch of “Best friends forever” written by city-based children’s author Arti Sonthalia. Arti always wanted to write stories that could connect to children, and has written three books till now. Her first book titled “Big Bully and M-Me” is based on bullying of a boy who stammers.

Her second book “Hungry to read” deals with development of children’s liking towards reading and how parents and teachers can put in effort to help them learn the importance of reading. “Best friends forever” teaches children to accept changes in life and to look at the world in a new perspective. “A child’s imagination develops through reading. Books don’t judge you, and so they are great friends to be with”, she said.
