NEW DELHI: Telangana freedom fighter and 97yearold Konda Laxman Bapuji ended his seven day fast at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Monday, in presence of several political and nonpolitical leaders and Telangana protagonists. However, Bapuji took a pledge he would continue the movement till separate Telangana became a reality.

BJP national general secretary Prakash Javadekar, CPI general secretary AB Bardhan, Telangana TDP forum leaders T Devendar Goud and MRPS founder president Manda Krishna Madiga were present when Konda Laxman concluded his fast.

Speaking to reporters, Konda Laxman Bapuji said that he would continue his movement in support of all sections of Telangana society. He said this was the time when all political parties and T organisations should work under one flag and one organisation to help achieve T state.

"On November 22, I will hold a Satyagraha programme at the Parliament and on November 13, I will hold Satbhavana Sadassu in Hyderabad along with MPs and MLAs," Lakshman said.

He also plans to hold a meeting with other top personalities in the state on Telangana issue in the coming days.
