Ten killed in road mishap in Madhya Pradesh

Ten people were killedand 16 others injured when the bus they were travelling inlanded in a gorge after hitting a tree near Basari village inthe district Thursday, police said.

The private vehicle was on its way to Chhatarpur fromSatna when the mishap occurred.

While eight persons died on the spot two otherssuccumbed to their injuries later, police said, adding theinjured persons were admitted in district hospital here.

The deceased were identified as Ramdeen Gadaria (30),Premchand (25), Rameshwar Dwivedi (20), Manish (15),Prabhudayal Patel (30), Raksha (14), Ajuddhi Basor (65),Anubhav Tailang (age not known) and two others who were yet tobe identified, police said.
