BHUBANESWAR: The Special CBI Court today granted continuation of bail of former Advocate-General (AG) Ashok Mohanty named by the apex probe agency in its charge sheet regarding the multi-crore chit fund scam.

Special CBI judge Padma Lochan Satpathy extended the bail term of Mohanty in connection with the Artha Tatwa Group scam when he appeared before the court.

Mohanty had been granted a conditional bail on September 26 last year by a local court after being arrested for his alleged links with Artha Tatwa chit fund company chief Pradip Sethi days earlier.
