Woman in Punjab's Phagwara claims her hair was chopped off

The police said that Jyoti had told them that she had suddenly felt "uneasiness" and had a "weird" feeling, but she did not move.

PHAGWARA (PUNJAB): A 23-year-old woman has alleged that her hair was chopped off by someone when she was watching TV at her house in Palahi village, the police said today.

The woman, Jyoti, claimed that the incident took place around 8.15 pm yesterday, they said.

The police said that Jyoti had told them that she had suddenly felt "uneasiness" and had a "weird" feeling, but she did not move.

The woman said that her younger sister came there and saw the some hair lying on the floor and it was then she realised that her braid had been chopped off, they said.

She is unaware of who did it, Sadar SHO Lakhvir Singh said, adding that the needful will be done
