Jammu and Kashmir governor NN Vohra is likely to resign, ten months before the end of his second term, this week, possibly even today, a media report said on Monday.

The Central government has been looking for a replacement for several months, the Indian Express reported. Vohra, a Padma Vibushan recipient, has been governor since 2008 and had earlier served as Home Secretary and Defence Secretary.
