Militants open fire on police vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam

Militants on Friday afternoon opened fire upon a police vehicle in Kulgam's Qazigund in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

SRINAGAR: Militants today attacked a police vehicle on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway at Qazigund, police said.

No one was injured in the attack.

The ultras fired at the police vehicle, which was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar, near Bonigam in Kulgam district, a police official said.

Security forces have cordoned off the area to track down assailants.
