Increase in killing of terrorists government's accomplishment, says MoS Home Hansraj Ahir

MoS Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir said there has been a huge increase in the number of killing of terrorists.

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday said that there was a huge increase in the number of incidents where terrorists had been killed, in the recent past, and that at least 580 terrorists have been killed since 2014.

Speaking in Lok Sabha, MoS Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir said, “There has been a huge increase in the number of killing of terrorists. At least 471 terrorists were killed between 2010 to 2013 and 580 terrorists have been killed since 2014."

The union minister further dubbed the increase in the above-mentioned numbers as an accomplishment of the government.

The Indian Army had earlier also said they neutralised about 190 terrorists in the year 2017.
