Dhruva’s divine experience with Bharjari

A Sharadhaa

Dhruva Sarja is gearing up for the shooting of his upcoming film Bharjari’s climax. It is to begin on Tuesday. And according to the actor, it seems to be a divine intervention filled with positivity.

Yet another grand set has been created for this sequence. The shoot will be on for a week and will have the entire cast of Bharjari including Rachita Ram, Hariprriya and Vaishali Deepak,  Srinivas  Murthy, Avinash, Rangayana Raghu, Jahangir, Anil and Raghav Uday among the 20 other artistes.
Director Chethan Kumar says that the “divine presence” was recreated with a few statues of Lord Ganesha, Devi and Lord Hanuman and this particular set, created for the climax, is rare for its “traditional grandeur” with a 24-foot statue of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy  set up at Kanakapura. If anyone enters this place, they can witness the grand spectacle.

Dhruva says that there was an “unexplained power” that he was guided by during the shoot.
“Everything went well, but not the way we planned,” says the actor. “I felt I was witnessing a powerful force, especially during the scenes of lifting the god or even while simply standing in front of huge statues. I didn’t feel the same effect in my previous two films, Addhuri and Bahaddhur.”
In fact, the actor even turned vegetarian because the last few scenes were shot in the ‘divine presence’.

“I consider Bharjari big and grand, and a name I relate with Lord Hanuman,” says Dhruva. “I am also a big devotee of the god and felt he has been there with me throughout.”
Even director Chethan is doing a vrath (fasting) till he completes this particular shoot.
Though the film took a long time in the making, the team is glad that it has shaped up well.  “We will be done with the talkie portions and will soon follow with the songs,” says Chethan.
The film made under R S Productions has V Harikrishna’s music and Shreesha Kuduvalli’s
cinematography.
