Shiva Ganesh and Ravichandran coming together for a thriller

Film produced by K Manju is likely to go on floors from July

From our online archive

Shiva Ganesh, who made his directorial debut with Jiggarthanda, will now be helming a film for Ravichandran. The project has producer K Manju on board.

Interestingly, Ravichandran is playing a pivotal role in Manju’s son Shreyas’ debut, Paddehuli. The Shiva Ganesh film has Crazy star in the lead, and is set to go on the floors next month. The makers are planing on making an official announcement then.

It is said that the film is inspired by the Tamil flick D-16, directed and written by Karthick Naren. The original, which featured Rahman in the lead, was a critically-acclaimed film. The thriller was initially planned to be remade in Telugu, but was dubbed and released as 16.

While we look forward to seeing Ravichandran in the avatar of Krishna in Muniratna Kurukshetra, the actor’s upcoming directorial Rajendra Ponnappa is also another project fans are waiting to catch.
We now have to await more details from the production house.
