Four from Bengaluru killed in road accident

MYSURU:  Four people were killed and two seriously injured when the four-wheeler in which they were travelling overturned near Nallurupala village of Hunsur taluk on Saturday.


The deceased have been identified as M S Ghorpade (49), Ranjan Solanki, Kaushik Chauhan (32) and Kishore Yadav (25).  The injured are Narayanarao Pawar and Yashwanthrao Pawar. All the six belong to the same family from Bengaluru and were in Hunsur to distribute the wedding invitations of  Ranjan Solanki. 


The police said eight members of the family had come to a relative’s house in Choudikatte village near Hunsur in two vehicles. 


After inviting their relatives at Choudikatte, they were on their way to Nagarahole forest around 4 pm when Ranjan Solanki who was at wheels of the vehicle lost control over it. 


According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was at high speed and rolled 7-8 times after the driver lost control over it.  Two other family members who were trailing them in another vehicle shifted the injured to a hospital.
