THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Cabinet on Wednesday decided to sanction F10 lakh as financial assistance to the family of Murugan, the Tamil Nadu native who died after he was denied timely medical care. The money will be spent on the education of Murugan’s two children. The sum will be deposited in the bank and the interest given to Murugamma, Murugan’s wife. Murugamma had called on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the morning accompanied by her children and other relatives.
