THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior BJP leader and MLA O Rajagppal said India needs to achieve the goal of dharma rajya which was  more suitable to Indian conditions.

Inaugurating the  Deena Dayal Upadhyaya smrithi dinam here on Saturday he said  more than socialism the ‘dharma rajya’ concept was suitable to the country. The communist ideology had no takers in the world as it failed to address the real issues of humanity.

He said ‘Ekatma Manav Darshan’(Integral humanism), the concept formulated by Deendayal Upadhyaya was more relevant today than ever as it had its basis in dharma.

Despite having got the opportunity for ruling West Bengal for 35 years, the Communist parties could not  bring any change in the people’s lives there. People there got impatient and voted them out.

On the contrary, in Gujarat where integral humanism became the basis of the BJP rule, the governments under Narendra Modi and Anandiben Patel could bring  remarkable changes in the lives of people.
“Integral humanism is the only option for fundamental change in society and uplift of the  poor,”he said.
