THRISSUR: The blood stains found in the room of the public relations officer of Pampadi Nehru Engineering College, Thrissur, and the hostel bathroom, matched the blood group of Jishnu Pranoy, the college’s student who was found hanging in the bathroom on January 6.

A report of the forensic test conducted at the forensic department of Thrissur Medical College Hospital mentioned that both blood groups were O positive.

The report strengthens the allegations by Jishnu’s relatives, who claimed their kin was killed due to physical torture.

Chairman of Nehru Group of Institutions P Krishnadas and four officials of the college have been accused of abetting Jishnu’s suicide, in a charge-sheet submitted by the SIT to the court.
