KOCHI: Bombay Tailors, a play by Atheethi School of Performance, Edappally and starring National award winning actress Surabhi Lakshmi, will be staged at Ernakulam TDM Hall in Kochi on April 21.
The event is being organised by the Bank Employees Art Movement Ernakulam (BEAME) which is hosting its 415th programme since its inception.
The play has been written by Vinod Kumar and will also star Binoy Nambala, Arya Vinod, N S Krishnankutty, Chowara Basheer, C V Dinesh, M S Ashraf, A H Shanavaz, Martin, Antony, Vasudevan among others.
Bombay Tailors tells the story of a tailor Peerubhai from Kavali town and his wife Muthu Mozhi and how their lives have fared in the contemporary era.
In the past, tailor shops, barber shops and small tea spots were not places were business alone took place. It was where humanity was formed and discussed.
