KOCHI: The 9th edition of the ‘Gothuruth Fest’ will begin on 31 December here at the St Sebastian’s HSS Ground in Gothuruth. A state-level short film organised as part of the celebrations will be held on January 1 and there would be competition in various categories including the best short film, director, actor, actress, script, editing and cinematography. Cash award and mementos will be given to the winners. The last date for entry is December 20.
