KOCHI: Mouth-watering snacks, home decor, textiles, jewellery and Xmas accessories were on display at the annual Christmas sale exhibition organised by the Association of St Teresa’s Alumnae (ASTA) here on Wednesday.The management, students and the ASTA committee were in a jubilant mood at the 20th edition of the Christmas sale exhibition. The event provided an opportunity to former students to display their talent in various crafts.
Only women were allowed to enter the sale exhibition. Dr Leena Leon of the home science department said that the primary intention behind the exhibition was not to merely market products but to serve as a platform to give a feeling of homecoming and reunion to old students. Cakes, muffins, puddings, brownies and wine were on sale at the special stalls focused on Christmas.Maria Paul, a former student who hosted a home decor stall, said that it is a good platform for beginners to market their products.
