KOCHI: The Konkani Film Festival, jointly organised by the PG Kamath Foundation and the District Information Office, will commence on Saturday.
As part of the two-day festival, to be held at the Ernakulam Children’s Theatre, film ‘Ujwadu’ will be screened at 10.30 am, 2.30 pm and 5 pm on Saturday. Directed by Kasargod Chinna and produced by K J Dhananjaya and Anuradha Padiyar, the film depicts the culture and tradition of Konkani Saraswat. Children’s film ‘Aa Vai Jaa Saa’, directed by Ramesh Kamath, will be screened at 10.30 am, 12.30 pm, 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm on Sunday.
