As far as luxury sports watches go, the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph is right up there with all-time greats. It was first launched in the mid-1970s, the dawn of the luxury sports watch in steel, which is to this date, a strong mainstay in the world of watches.

The Laureato collection, as we know it today, was relaunched in 2016, with tweaks that give it a modern edge, while retaining the essence of the collection. Today’s Laureato Chronographs, in particular, unlike the first ever Laureato, are powered by automatic movements.

Available on a steel bracelet or leather strap, with various dial options, the watch comes with an octagonal bezel and softly rounded corners. Its thin profile and other nuanced elements make it quite versatile as well.

Available at Ethos Watch Boutique, prices start at `11,40,500
