LONDON: If you are Peroni beer lover, then this news might make your day as Peroni has been named the poshest beer in the UK.
The researchers analysed how many customers for the popular beer brands fit into in the widely used A (upper middle class) and B (middle class) social grades, the Independent reports.
It was found that 50 percent of the customers were in AB group and so YouGov named the Italian drink the poshest beer.
The lager’s share of “posh” customers was 5 percent higher than Heineken, the beer which came second.
Meanwhile, Carlsberg beer stands at the bottom of the top ten list, with 31 per cent of its customers being in the AB group.
