The Delhi Police is ready to do a brain mapping of former Haryana minister Gopal Goyal Kanda in order to extract more details in the Geetika Sharma suicide case.

The Delhi Police has also sought the custody of co-accused Aruna Chaddha. The police want to jointly interrogate her in Kanda's presence and tally the statements made by each of them.

The police also plan to take Aruna Chadha to other parts of Delhi and NCR.

Kanda has claimed he was in Sirsa for all the 11 days when he was declared absconding. Delhi Police now plans to seek custody of another suspect Aruna Chaddha, in order to jointly interrogate them.

Aruna will be produced in the Rohini court on Monday afternoon. Police sources say her custody is important because Aruna and Kanda are the only two accused in the case and police want to question them in the presence of each other. They want see if the statements given by both the accused corroborate each other or not. This face-off can nail their link in the suicide case.

Police began questioning Kanda at 10 am sharp on Sunday. He was taken to the MDLR office and finally brought back to Ashok Nagar police station at 5pm.

Kanda's lawyers said their client is helping the investigation but isn't keeping well.

"He is cooperating with the investigation but his BP shot up so we request he should be given medicine at proper time, Kanda's lawyer Kapil Sanhla.

Police couldn't arrest Kanda till he surrendered 13 days after the suicide. Now that he is in the possession of Delhi police it will be seen if they can build a strong case against the two accused.
