NEW DELHI: After a month-long operation, central intelligence agencies with help of Delhi, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday nabbed two alleged members of a Lashkar-e-Toiba team planning to explode bombs in crowded areas in the capital.

The duo, aged about 25, were caught with a large amount of explosives from New Delhi Railway station. A memory chip, with videos on bomb-making and photos of training camps, was recovered, sources said.

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram termed the arrest a ‘major breakthrough’, as they were planning serial blasts, targeting innocent civilians.
