JAISALMER: Five youths were arrested for allegedly poaching a Chinkara in the district, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, the accused were held on Jaisalmer- Pokaran road last night, police said, adding that the dead Chinkara was recovered from their car.
Vishal, Gaurav, Lalit Kumar, Jaidev and Manohar Lal were booked under relevant Sections of the Wildlife Protection Act 1972, they said.
