Two Brothers Booked For Allegedly Raping Their Female Cousin

INDORE: Two brothers have been booked for allegedly raping their female cousin for nearly seven years, police sources said here today.

Vikas Trivedi (30) and Suraj Trivedi (32) who are both real brothers and residents of the Shivvilas Palace area, have been charged with allegedly raping their 22-year-old cousin who lodged a complaint, Mahatma Gandhi Road police station in-charge Manoj Ratnakar said.

Allegedly, they sexually exploited her after threatening and beating her for nearly seven years, he said. The duo have been charged under Section 376 (rape), Section 323 (causing hurt) and Section 507 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), he said.

However, the accused have not been arrested yet though the case is being probed in-depth, Ratnakar said.
